Data sources and accuracy

CampusROI's college data is sourced from the U.S. Department of Education's College Scorecard and is provided for informational purposes only. While we make every effort to present this data accurately, we make no guarantees of completeness, accuracy, or timeliness. Data is updated annually when the Department of Education releases new College Scorecard data; figures may lag current reality by one to two years.

ROI scores are calculated using CampusROI's proprietary methodology, described in full on our Methodology page. These scores are one tool for evaluating college value and should not be the sole basis for enrollment decisions.

Not professional advice

Nothing on CampusROI constitutes financial, investment, legal, or admissions advice. Calculator outputs and ROI scores are illustrative projections based on historical data - actual outcomes will vary based on individual circumstances, major, career path, and economic conditions.
